Miranda Lambert Announces Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour, Discusses Blake Shelton and Alter Egos

Miranda Lambert has signed up some of country's hottest male acts to join her on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour kicking off Thursday, March 18th in West Virginia with special guest James Otto. David Nail, Randy Houser, Eric Church, Chris Young, Luke Bryan, Randy Houser and Texas music favorites Cross Canadian Ragweed and Wade Bowen will also open for Miranda on select dates of the trek. Miranda says, "I've been on tour with some great male headliners, so it's only natural that I invite some talented guys on my first official headlining tour."

All of the acts on the trek can't wait to get on the road with Miranda. Eric Church says, "Put us both together and it should be unsafe at best. Everybody better rest up for this one 'cause we're gonna blow it up."

As for her personal life, Miranda has been dating fellow country star Blake Shelton for several years now, but she's not holding her breath for him to put a ring on her finger. Says Miranda, "I think we're just now becoming a real couple...I don't think it has to have a title. It's just fun to be with someone you love that loves the same things that you do."

Miranda's also showing more of her tender side with her latest single, "The House That Built Me," hitting the airwaves. Since she's built this persona of being the tough girl who sings "Gunpowder & Lead" and "Kerosene," Miranda is thinking of creating an alter ego to kind of make sense of the two different sides of her personality. Taking a cue from her hero Beyonce, who came up with the onstage persona "Sasha Fierce," Miranda says, "I'm gonna ponder that, because I figure if Beyonce can have an alter ego, I should follow her 'cause it's always good to follow greatness." Miranda's Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour lasts through a June 5th date in Texas.
